You can use EgyptAir online check-in to choose your seat and print your boarding pass from 48 hours before your flight is due to leave until 90 minutes before departure. The only exceptions are those passengers flying from Erbil and Baghdad in Iraq, and Juba in South Sudan. Additionally, if you are travelling from Dammam or Riyadh, you will be requested to print two copies of your boarding pass.
Once you have checked in and printed your boarding pass you may proceed straight to the gate on arrival at the airport. If you have baggage that needs to be placed in the hold, then there are handy Egyp tAir Baggage Drop Counters in the airport to make this easy for you. The latest time for depositing baggage is one hour before departure, and the gate will close 30 minutes before the plane is due to leave.
To use online check-in you will need your name, your boarding code and one type of identification. Your e-ticket number, booking reference or even your frequent flyer number are all suitable but you will need to have already noted your frequent flyer membership number during your booking process.
